We are happy to announce, that Nakolos has been selected as the technology partner for the development and testing of the Pocket Siren technology, or 5G media transmission, in Estonia. The project by Levira and TalTech (Tallinn university of technology) is a two-year initiative focused on the transmission of important and area-specific emergency messages to modern smartphones even when the mobile operator’s network is down, or the device is in silent mode. The project is funded from the European Union’s Cohesion Policy 2021-2027 period.

As part of this collaboration, Nakolos will provide its 5G BC Core, the Nakolos Middleware and an adapted version of its app. We’re thrilled to contribute to the success of this transformative project and look forward to the opportunities ahead.
