At this years International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) 2024, Nakolos unveiled its new 5G broadcast product portfolio. With a focus on simplicity and efficiency, we presented our web interface designed to make it easy for BNOs to roll out their 5G Broadcast services.

During the event, Nakolos unveiled its latest advancements in 5G Broadcast solutions, highlighting “The simple way to 5G Broadcast.” Our products are engineered to streamline the complexities often associated with traditional broadcasting methods, ensuring that broadcasters can meet the increasing demands of modern audiences.

End-to-End integration enables a live 5G Broadcast signal in Amsterdam
During IBC 2024, Nakolos collaborated with industry leaders to set a milestone and bring 5G Broadcast transmission capabilities on air in Amsterdam. This collaboration showcased the practical application of Nakolos’s technology. Two channels of public broadcasters, NPO 1 and NPO 3FM, have been transmitted via the 150 m high Cellnex RAI Amsterdam broadcasting tower from September 13 to 16 outdoors and partly indoors.
Nakolos took on the role of the end-2-end integrator in this project, while also supplying the 5G Broadcast core and the application on mobiles.
The live demonstration not only highlighted the reliability and efficiency of their technology but also provided a tangible experience for stakeholders looking to adopt 5G Broadcast solutions in their operations.
